The Inchcape Toyota Sale – Starts 27th December

Christmas has always been a time for giving, sharing and putting a smile on the faces of friends and family.

It’s a time the team at Inchcape Toyota particularly look forward to every year, with our December sale event, which starts at 10am on the 27th December.

Our staff work tirelessly during the build up to Christmas to put together a sale event that we can really be proud of and believe in. These days, having to watch the pennies and ensuring we all get as much ‘value for money’ as possible, is an every day practice and something we all preach. So, it’s great that we can help customers money go further and allow so many people to get so much more through our sale event.

But it’s not just about the extensive price reductions you can enjoy on our new and used car prices. Or the fact that when you use ToyotaAccess to finance your vehicle, you’ll also be paying no interest with 0% APR representative on selected cars

No, it’s more than that.

Buying and owning a Toyota saves you money, whichever way you look at it.

Buy a new Toyota car, and you get

  • 5 year/100,000 mile warranty.
  • 12 months road tax
  • Club Toyota Membership, giving you access to many discounts
  • 12 months road side assistance

Take the hybrid Toyota Prius for example. What other car has an ultra low CO2 level of just 89g/km, is road tax and congestion charge exempt and is the most economical car in it’s class with a mind boggling 72.4 miles per gallon? What’s more, when you do go to sell or part exchange it, it will be worth more than other non-Toyota hybrid models due to its high residual value. And of course, you’ll be doing your part to help your environment.

Toyota warranty now 5 years on new cars

Or buy an Approved pre-owned Inchcape Toyota car from Inchcape and you get:

  • 12 months/60,000 mile warranty
  • HPI vehicle history check
  • 12 months road tax
  • Pre-delivery check
  • 30 day no-quibble exchange plan
  • 12 months European road side assistance

And if you’re thinking of long term benefits, Inchcape Toyota have just put fixed price servicing in place to make our servicing costs totally transparent. But if you’d prefer to have the knowledge that your service and MOT costs are taken care of, you can take advantage of our Toyota Service plans with options for annual or monthly payments – many customers already have.

So saving money in a sale is, of course, a great thing, but isn’t it better to know that the product you’ll buy will give you more benefits such as enhanced performance, reliability, safety and overall, great value for money?

We think so, which is why the Inchcape Toyota sale event is so much more than just a sale event. It’s about the real value that Toyota products provide.

Hope to see you at the Sale event (or any time during the next 12 months), but if not may we take this opportunity to wish a Merry Christmas and a very prosperous new year from all the staff and management team at Inchcape Toyota.

Then visit Guildford Toyota, Nottingham Toyota, Oxford Toyota, Derby Toyota, Sandhurst Toyota, Burton Toyota, Basingstoke Toyota from 10am on the 27th December and enjoy the pick of the Toyota bargains.

But hurry, they won’t be around for ever.

The New Toyota Yaris – more of a car than meets the eye

Ladies and Gentleman, I give you, the all-new Toyota Yaris (officially launched mid September 2011).

Proving to be something special

The new Yaris is somewhat of a very special car, as I found out for myself during a recent track testing day at the Millbrook Proving ground. The new model is so much more than the previous version. Much more.

It’s not often you get to test drive any car around a track full of sharp corners, hills, tight turns, humps and open road. But when you do, you really start to get a feel for how the car responds in the many conditions we all encounter in real life – only in this instance, all of those conditions in the space of 200 yards!

But what I am proud to say, is that the Yaris handled extremely well, felt responsive in terms of braking and acceleration and gave a really, balanced ride. Hard to explain but you do feel ‘part’ of the ride through a combination of better seating and improved steering wheel position. The car felt safe and solid. Though that’s not overly surprising, as the new Yaris achieved a 5* Euro NCAP rating for safety with it’s 7 air bags plus ‘whiplash injury lessening’ seats.

To allow a fair comparison, I also put a VW Polo, Ford Fiesta and a Peugeot 207 through their paces on the same track and it was very obvious that the new Yaris was the overall winner (yes, even beating the Polo). And I’m not just saying that because I’m the Marketing Manager for Inchcape Toyota, It really was the case…

But it’s not just the performance and comfort that’s improved. Oh no…

A real head turner and from just £11,170.

The looks have dramatically changed with a bolder and more defined appearance. Add to that it’s new double concave grill, a much more sportier all round look and you end up with a very dynamic profile. It looks more confident, more modern and is very pleasing on the eye. And from a very competitive £11,170, that’s a lot of car (and looks) for your money.

Take a look at this video to see how, and why, the look has been improved.

Innovative, relevant and useable Technology, not gadgets!

Inside the car, there’s been so many enhancements, it’s hard to know where to start. With a marketing tag line of ‘where the smart money’s at’, the technological jump in this vehicle is extensive.

The new Toyota ‘Touch and Go’ multimedia system allows you to discover an impressive blend of the latest technology with satellite navigation, Bluetooth and a built in rear-view camera to help banish parking problems for good.

What’s more, the touch screen becomes your phone’s interface, allowing you to safely read texts, answer calls and search your address book. The sat nav directs you around traffic jams with ease and can even take you to the cheapest petrol stations (and let’s face it, with the price of fuel today, that has to be a major benefit).

But possibly the best piece of technology the car has to offer is it’s Google Local search, which uses your phones internet connection and the car’s 6.1″ touch screen to give you access to the whole of Google’s database. So if you were in Guildford and fancied a Pizza, you just search Google, select the restaurant you want (and here’s the really clever bit) and your sat nav automatically guides you there. Fantastic.

Of course, there’s more to Touch and Go than that. You can check the weather, find out how many available parking spaces there are locally and so much more. Nothing short of an actual vehicle demonstration can highlight all the good points.

Here’s Toyota’s latest TV advert highlighting the fact that the new Yaris Touch and Go technolgy is no gimmick:

What’s more, ‘Touch and Go’ comes as a free upgrade on TR, SR and T Spirit grades, but only for the first six months from launch.

Take more with you, wherever you may go

We all crave more space, and the improved Yaris boot size, which is 25% bigger than the previous model, easily gives you enough room to carry a buggy and a weeks worth of shopping. For those who like the detail, it has a capacity of 347 litres and if you need even more space, fold down the back seats and it increases to an amazing 768 litres!

Going further for less

Sticking with the theme of litres (but the fuel variety), you’ll be very pleased to know that the New Yaris 1.33 petrol engine delivers a mind-blowing 52.3 miles per gallon. Or you can top that by taking the 1.4 diesel engine that gives a whopping 72.4 miles per gallon!

Because of the CO2 emissions being so good, you can also save money on car tax with the diesel at 104g/km attracts just £20 a year in tax. The 1.0 petrol and 1.33 automatic are in the £30 band, with the 1.33 manual just one band above that.

How could I forget – the 5 year warranty

For added peace of mind, all new Yaris are backed by Toyota’s five-year/100,000-mile warranty. Very reassuring.

Actions speak louder than words.

I’ve tried to paint the picture of what the new Yaris is like (which is very positive), and there are enough reviews already on the internet for you to see just how good this car is. Really, it is a great car.

To prove the point further, the sales teams at Inchcape Toyota have already taken orders for this new model, which is officially launched around the middle of September, and initial customer reaction has been very positive.

So, in summary, if you’re looking for a car that gives you great handling, comfort, safety, space, excellent MPG, low cost road tax, great technology and looks that turn heads, then the new Toyota Yaris is very much the car for you.

And from £11,170 with a free ‘Touch and Go’ upgrade and 5 years warranty, it really is wonderful value for money.

Take it for a test drive at any Inchcape Toyota centre yourself and see and feel the benefits first hand. There are also a number of outstanding finance options to help you get your new Yaris on the road.

And if you want further proof of just how good this car is, then check out the full details here. You’ll be glad you did.

All the best,

Jason Fisher
